Melina Rangel is a Tax Manager at Grant Thornton Aruba and Bonaire. Melina has been with the firm since 2014 and has a broad portfolio, which mainly includes hotels, casino’s, construction companies and private individuals in Bonaire. Melina has experience in multiple sectors of the Aruba and Bonaire market and has developed practical experience regarding tax restructuring, indirect taxes such as turnover taxes, ABB, casino tax, customs and excise duties, wage tax and personal income tax. Melina also assists clients in tax law litigation in Bonaire. Melina is also a board member of the Aruban Association of Tax Consultants (Arubaanse Vereniging van Belastingconsulenten).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in international and European tax law with an American specialization from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands and the University of Aruba.
